I've got an experience of more than 15 years working as an Art Director for Top Counter S.L., a company that develops videogames aimed at gambling and bets. From my position, I've been responsible for creating over 30 games, from zero or based on briefs; so, for each game I've been engaged with concept art, definition of main levels and bonus games, design of symbols, props and characters both in 2D or in 3D, creation of layouts and screens, typography, as well as illustration and animation of backgrounds, characters, symbols and objects.
Also, as the Art Director, I've been supervising the implementation of the graphics and animations by the programmers team, giving guidelines and helping for reaching the best results from the visual and animation point of view.
Following these lines, I'm offering you some samples of the art I created for a game called "Cashmania", which was designed in 3D, working with Photoshop and Maya.
The presentation screen was inspired by Lester Burnham's fantasy at "American Beauty" ... ;)
The world displayed by this game required designing, modelling and animating a variety of symbols and characters related to money, such as a playboy millionaire, a banker hidden behind a suitcase full of cash, a thief stoling a bank, and so on... all of which were framed into a wide piggybank.
These are the Bonus Games. For the second one, I had fun developing a different personality for each of the piggybanks that could be chosen to break with a hammer: there was a happy one, another one who was strong and bad-tempered, she-piggy, the shy one, and the smart one.

I also had to design the vinyls which were to be physically displayed on the cabinets containing the screen and game motherboard.
